Appointments

We try our best to accommodate our patients as much as possible when scheduling appointments. We have found that children with extensive dental work or preschool children are better to be seen early in the morning when they are fresher and can have a more positive experience. Some appointments may require the child to miss some school; however, these are considered excused absences. With continued care, appointments during school can be kept to a minimum.

Your child’s appointment time is reserved especially for him/her. We do our best to keep our appointments running on time. Out of courtesy we will attempt to call you to confirm future appointments, but please be advised that scheduling the appointment IS your confirmation of the appointment. If you must cancel your scheduled appointment, we require 1 FULL business day's notice. When scheduling two or more patients per family, 2 FULL business days' notice will be required. If adequate notice is not given to our office, all subsequent visits with our office will require a scheduling deposit of $50 (per child). If a $50 scheduling deposit is required, it must be paid when scheduling to hold your child’s future appointment. If this appointment is missed or cancelled without the required notice, the deposit will be retained by our office as a broken appointment fee. After 2 years, you can use this as a credit towards your portion of the services rendered or request a refund to be mailed.

Insurance

Our office is committed to helping you make to most of your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary greatly, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services. After 60 days, you are responsible for the entire balance, paid-in-full. If you have any questions, our Insurance and Accounts Coordinator will be happy to assist you.
